Prerequisites: Introduction to the Personal Computer or equivilant
Description:
equivalent Flat-bed scanners are cheap, easy to install and increase the functionality of your personal computer. Scanners can convert your photographs and other documents into digital form and create editable text from printed material. They can also serve as a copier and a source of documents to fax. This two-session course demonstrates installing a scanner and using its many functions.
Instructor
Ed Whipple has taught
Introduction to the Internet and Intermediate PC User and
currently teaches Digital Photography. He also helps maintain the
computers and the network. Ed has been involved with personal
computers since 1978 and has been a volunteer at the Center since
1996.
