Digital Photography
Course Length: Six weeks. Cost: $75
Prerequisites: Introduction to the Personal Computer
Description:
Millions of digital photos are snapped every day but where are the pictures? Where are the neat packages of prints from the one-hour lab that we could pass around at parties? What are all these buttons and settings on my point and shoot camera? Participants will:
- Transfer photos from their camera or scanner to the computer;
- Organize their photos on the computer's hard drive;
- Attach photos to e-mails; print photos, and display photos on the World-Wide-Web;
- Crop, straighten, and adjust the lighting and color of photos.
The course will also cover digital camera features and handling. Participants should have access to a personal computer running Windows XP or Vista and have basic mouse and keyboard skills. It is not necessary to have a digital camera to participate in the course. (Six classes.)
