Workshop: Buying and Selling on eBay

Course Length: Four weeks. Cost: $40

Description:

This 4-week interactive workshop will cover all you need to know about buying and selling merchandise on the Internet - focusing on the popular eBay site. The workshop covers secure servers (why it is safe to buy on-line); how to set up an eBay account; buying items on eBay; selling items on eBay; using digital photos to sell merchandise; and using PayPal. Feel free to bring in an item you want to sell - or ideas for that special something you are wanting to buy. We'll be able to post items to buy and sell in Part 1 of the workshop and check their status in the second workshop.

Class size is limited so register early.

Instructor: Julia Loughran

Julia Loughran has been a volunteer at the Center since Oct. 1997.  

Julia is President of  ThoughtLink, Inc., a research and consulting company examining ways in which the internet can enhance the way people work and train together.  Julia lives in Vienna with her husband, Wiley, their two Labrador retrievers, Ruby and Goose, and two spoiled cats, Tucker and Niles (see the gallery page on this site).
