Description

The Internet can seem overwhelming sometimes—but this eye-opening workshop will highlight some of the really cool stuff available on the Internet —from up-to-date weather around the world and video chat to streaming music and flight tracking —you can find it all on the Internet. Come and learn what's out there—and bring one of your favorite web sites to share with the class.

Instructor

Julia Loughran has been a volunteer at the Center since Oct. 1997.

Julia is President of ThoughtLink, Inc., a research and consulting company examining ways in which the internet can enhance the way people work and train together. Julia lives in Vienna with her husband, Wiley, their Labrador retriever Goose, and a spoiled cat, Tucker.
