Course Length: Six weeks. Cost: $75

Description:

If you have experience with computers, surfing the Internet and doing e-mail, this course will help you to the next level. You'll learn to take advantage of what the Internet has to offer. The class will cover subjects like: Shopping on-line, Using eBay and PayPal, Creating on-line scrapbooks and photo album books, Getting the most from Search Engines, and more!

Instructor: Julia Loughran

Julia Loughran has been a volunteer at the Center since Oct. 1997.  

Julia is President of  ThoughtLink, Inc., a research and consulting company examining ways in which the internet can enhance the way people work and train together.  Julia lives in Vienna with her husband, Wiley, their two Labrador retrievers, Ruby and Goose, and a spoiled cat Tucker (see the gallery page on this site).
