Computers and the Internet 101

Course Length: Six weeks. Cost: $75

Description:

Are you brand new to computers but dying to find out what the Internet is all about? In this introductory class you'll be introduced to personal computers (using the Microsoft Vista operating system) and learn how to use a mouse. You'll also learn how to surf the Internet and send e-mail. All students will be given a free e-mail address (from Yahoo.com) and will practice e-mailing, going to web sites, shopping on-line, and getting information from search engines. Even if you have some experience on the Internet,you'll learn new techniques for getting the most from your on-line experience. No previous computer experience necessary. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged.
